So, Beschloss is 100% correct, the defeat of the GOP --- not just Thing 45 --- has got to be thorough and resounding.
Today POTUS seems to be sending to the lower courts this case of immunity of a president, here DJT, and again they are playing ping pong to avoid any accountability toward this con man who, as we've all seen, inciter the Jan.6 riot on the Capitol.
No matter what, I hope that sensible Americans will see this bad twist and will vote for Biden even if he isn't perfect but at least, he follows the law and the power of the Presidency for the good of ALL Americans.
Unbelievable how those courts have no shame to help tRumb to regain the presidency wish he should never nave won as in the 2016 Hillary Clinton won the popular vote.

@ JiEL - Not exactly returned to the lower courts. SCOTUS has granted him immunity on a broad range of things.
What will have to be dragged through the courts is: If he declares something "an official act," does that constitute a "presidential duty." Something said in private cannot be used as evidence in any case brought against him - will also have to be dragged through the lower courts.
The question is, why? I think it's because those 6 justices fear for their lives. They're afraid the MAGAts will come after them, so they rule in his favor. They're a bunch of cowards, just like the GOP sycophants in Congress.
It's ridiculous and SCOTUS is dismantling the US government one ruling at a time.

It was early this morning when I wrote my comment and now I saw what happened in the SCOTUS (I mistaken the POTUS this morning, not enough coffee..) ruling which is not very surprising as 6 Justices are biased and kissing the ring of tRumb.
For sure, Justice in USA is sadly biased by the allegences to one of the other party something you don't see here in Canada as our judges need to be out of any partisanship.
Also our Supreme Court judges aren't nominated for life but must retire at 75yo.
So many things are different here in Canada that make me proud to be Canadian and be able to live in such freedom and no fear of being judged by my way of life and mostly in a fairly safe environnement wihout guns around me anywhere.
