Miss "Chiquita Banana" was one of the most innovative mascots of the time, or ever. Memorable and effective to showcase their South American bananas as better than others. Elevating bananas up several notches, as food, at the same time. Looking for that sticker on the bananas, too!
I adore vintage ads. So much fun. Most of the food featured is terrible - terrible for you, terrible tasting... but so much fun. I mean... what is Cheese Whiz?????
