Wow Rick - surprised you had a copy of this set! "Spike" (whose real name was Rex Ruben) was a print model long before Chi Chi LaRue discovered him in the late 1990's and put him some productions for Falcon and All Worlds. As his fame rose into the 2010's he finally made it big time when Joe Gage approached him and made him one of the "Gage Men" when he was associated with Dragon Media.
Rex didn't do really well as a print model (hence the somewhat difficult task of locating obscure photos of him!) but his time as a "Gage Man" was productive. It didn't hurt that he was the average "everyday" man (in appearance and attitude) that Gage had become famous for, but Rex Ruben became legendary for what was in his pants and his incredible cum shots. Never a traditional "pretty boy" of porn, it seemed that after Gage slowed down his productions many of his "Men" went on to big careers, but Rex didn't really get that chance - he did a few more things for Falcon and minor studios, but not much after that. Newer movies featuring him are usually just compilations of older scenes of other films that Gage shot that are produced from either Falcon, Channel 1 Releasing or Dragon Media.
Personally, I always thought of Spike as a talented performer - he didn't stand out with a body of death or incredible good looks, but he always gave his all in scenes whether he was topping or bottoming. Wherever he is these days, I wish him the best!
