And, yet, here we had Sinema insist on stripping the tax reform on Private Equity Firms in order to get the rest of the stuff passed. That is a prime example of what the Lobbyists manage to do.

The problem with America is that just about every working class person thinks they are going to be rich someday. So they hate the idea of taxing the rich appropriately - it will be them eventually! My kid brother thinks this way.
Elon Musk is literally the reincarnation of Howard Hughes - did some interesting and useful stuff in his younger years, but became a serious wierdo as he aged. Now if only Musk would get the *recluse* part of weirdness going...
