The time to end subsidies to oil companies was decades ago....
Personally, I'm cool with high gas prices if they get some of these ridiculous giant pickup trucks off the road. But since so many people are unhappy about it, I wish Congress would bring in those CEOs and grill them. The public would actually pay attention since it's a hot issue, and they might learn something.

With Congress dominated by the Republican agenda, do you really think the oil companies will be held up to account by that institution? Besides, it's about big money, and guess whose pockets would be affected? Give you one guess.
We are now at $2,00/ LITER... multiply by 4 for a almost a gallon = $8,00/gal.
So stop complaining. So many SUV's and trucks like F-150 in USA that it's not surprising many are complaining.
You have to choose now to be able to save fuel and stop the pollution too.

This is why politicians should not be allowed to invest in the stock market or lobbyist. They need to be disinterested parties, so that they can serve the people like they're supposed to!
