A brilliant and unique artist, not to mention the creator of one the most iconic movie monsters ever. We won't see his like again.
I have a biography about him sitting on my nightstand. One day I will get to it. His work for Alien was amazing.
The first time I've encounter Giger's work I was a teen. Turning each page was a challenge, I couldn't know if the next one would scare me for good, or entice me to go further (and pump some more blood in my pant...).
It was in a public library, during a hot summer...anyone could have come by, and find me with this big porn-horror-freak-ish book.
Years later I still hope I'll come across such mind-bending and exciting art experience.
