I've never been much of a Xmas enthusiast. Probably because I realised in my early teens how commercial and superficial the whole thing is. I think that the best Xmas I had were those we used to celebrate, a few friends and I, years ago, all having the same point of view about it: let's make it a friends dinner with fine food and wine, no boyfriend or girlfriend allowed. A non-Xmas of sort for Gents only :-)

Love the Grinch. Can't argue with that. As for the war on Xmas? F your fairytale about a young girl who gets knocked up, wants to conceal the fact that she had sex and makes up a story about a sky god who 'gifted' her with a baby. She then gets her gay best friend to front for her as 'hubby' and the two, in order to hide from their rapidly growing fan base, hit the road - with no money and no healthcare - so she ends up giving birth among the livestock.
