The Repubs are not pro-life. Not at all. It's a complete ruse. I've always believed that.
We are having a federal election since 24 days and election day is on September 20.
One of the main offer of the 4 parties is to maintain our assault riffles ban and even to extend it to handguns too.
The Liberal party is also offering to buy ALL those weapons like the AR-15 and destroy them.
The only party that showed some issues over this ban is our «Canadian Conservative Party» that are ambiguous in their written platform but their leader, Erin O'Toole, is struggling to say that this isn't true.
He says that he'll maintain the riffle ban but his «real deep conservative base» are from provinces like Alberta and are against banning them.
Trudeau said that O'Toole is at the mercy of guns' lobby so what he said was «BS».
Sure that here in Canada we don't have your «Second Amendment» and that our almost entire population is against any weapons for domestic use.
What is also sad is that the illegal mass shooting weapons are coming here from USA crossing our border by the native reserves that are on that border.
Our police is very active to catch those smogglers but even then many are still imported and are in the hands of street gangs.
Here in Toronto and Montreal the latest shootings were credited by street gangs.
PS I like the second pic as it says it all of what is at stake in Texas and in many GOP states.
