In last December my oldest son asked me to lend him my vinyls collection as he bought a new sound system with a high tech turn table. I did give him my 70 vinyls collection in which are original copies of the Beatles, Chicago, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Cat Stevens, Rita Coolidge and many classic music on Deutsch Grammophon too.
Yes the sound of vinyl recordings is more rich than CD's.
I have so many nice memories listening to those in the 70's and later too. Remembering also the fun and excitement to go to the music store and buy the last vinyl of my favorite musicians.
I LOVE VINYL. Not the new stuff. The oldies. Everything was better when you could buy an album for $2.99 and change your personality with the drop of a phonograph needle.
I miss vinyl.
ReplyDeleteLOL. The sound is so much warmer and rich.

JiEL - I used to have a collection of several hundred vinyl records but slowly got rid of them.
