OMG! That cat is just like my Adam same color and behavior.
He is always ok to be pet and brushed too. He's almost a dog and understand when I talk to him and knows when I'm angry at him if he does something wrong.
BTW I have 4 cats and 2 of them are Siamese.
JiEL - Wow, four cats. That's a lot. Our Dexter has to be an only cat. He's a Manx with some Siamese, so the Humane Society said. He follows me around like a puppy. He understands "Let's go to bed" and "Let's sleep some more."
I was helping a friend that owned a cat shelter for abandonned cats.
Did adopt a first cat, a big tabby of 5yo, Picolo who was the «Garfield» type. Lazy but loveable. Turned out he died on december 2017.
So on March 2018 I saw this female, Lee Lou, semi long hair cat, 4yo declawed and adopted her. She was left there by a family that was moving to BC.
She's my «princess» and sleeps with me all the night, is quite affectionate too. One of his thing is that as soon I sit on the toilet seat, she comes over in the bathroom no matter if she's sleeping far away in the appartement.
Then, on May 2018, going to the cat shelter, I was a driver to take cats to the vet or deliver cats to their foster home, there was this cute kitten, 3 months old that was rescued in a box in a cold backstreet with his 3 sisters. As soon as I entered that room he was in the shelter, he came to me passing between my legs purring like a 747. I took him in my arms and that was it. He adopted me...
Adam is like to one on the GIF. Adorable and very clever for a cat.
He's the most loveable cat I ever had.
Then on March 2019, I had to drive some cats from the shelter to some foster homes for the city officials were coming for a check up.
There was a siamese family and I wanted to have one of them but the owner wasn't decided to sell them. She's a special woman not being trustful for humans.
So, she finally let me take two brothers then 7 months old to my place waiting for the city officials to do their job.
Sancho it the smallest and Gaël is the bigger one. First they were afraid and with the help of my love cat Adam, he manage to show them around the place and showing them how to play etc..
What was special, is on a phone call, I told the lady that I would buy one of the cats but not sure which one. She then said out of any expectation: I'm giving the two of them to you.
So that is how I came to adopt 4 cats.
Still, GaËl is the most scared on but it's getting better from time to time with the help of Adam which whom he is in love... Yes, those a gay cats.. LOL
Sancho is adorable and like to be pet in the morning in bed before the morning treat.
I ofen have my 4 cats sleeping with me on the cover on my bed. But Lee Lou is always there and Adam on the other side. Lee Lou like to be alone.
Never saw a female with no maternal behavior.
JiEL - What a wonderful story of how you came to have your four cats! Thank you for sharing that with me. And thank you for your assistance in helping cats at the shelter.
Dexter insists on "spooning" with me when we sleep. His back is usually pressed up to my chest. Even when I turn over, he comes around to the new position and plunks right up against me.
Kitties rule. Dogs do, too. People drool.
