    Forgot to mention the all time Republicans doing all to limit black and brown people to go and cast their votes.

    This is such a none sense from a Canadian point of view.
    This would be a criminal action here and those would be prosecuted in court.

    uptonking & JiEL - To both of you I want to mention that just today I read an article about how the Supreme Court - yeah, THAT one - is poised to allow some of these laws to stand. In fact, the SCOTUS has already allowed some whittling to the Voting Rights Act.

    You may know this, of course, but the graphic you posted about illegal immigrants omitted one of my favorites: that they pay no taxes. Ah, but they do! They pay property taxes, whether as homeowners or renters. They pay sales taxes like everyone else. Those two are the main funding sources for local schools and public health, so no, they don't attend schools without paying to support them.
