The image is a black and white composite photograph by Polish visual artist Alicja Posłuszna. The surrealist image blends the reflection of a crow drinking from a puddle with the silhouette of a person standing on a brick-paved surface.

The image is the cover artwork for Debbie Harry's 1981 debut solo album, KooKoo. The artwork was created in collaboration with the Swiss artist H.R. Giger, famous for his design work on the film Alien.

The image features the sculpture 38° Parallelo, a pyramid-shaped artwork by Mauro Staccioli. The photograph, taken by Rosaria Sabrina Pantano, won the Architecture category of the 2020 Sony World Photography Awards.
