last one: in Italy we call flat-earthers terrapiattisti!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me smile to see the cure with leeches
These are all true, but the second image messes up slightly -- that's a baby gorilla at the lower left, not a baby chimpanzee. Of course gorillas are also extremely close relatives of humans.
ReplyDeleteWhen you see baby apes on video, the similarity of their behavior to human babies is even more striking.
The other great ape species (chimpanzees, bonobos, gorillas, orangutans) have the same blood types as we do (A, B, O, etc) and in chimpanzees and bonobos the hemoglobin is so similar that you could safely get a blood transfusion from one with a compatible blood type, if it weren't for the problem of the blood parasites wild animals tend to have. It's absurd to deny that we're a great ape species too.
I think the leeches thing may actually have some validity.
ReplyDeleteWe certainly do appear to be regressing back to the Dark Ages. What will it take to bring the second Enlightenment?
ReplyDeleteInfidel753 - It's a shame the meme made that error. Thanks for the link of the videos! Amazing about their blood.
