Beautiful waterfall? Not quite. Brown water could be soil runoff, but red water makes it look like a giant chemical plant must be dumping pollutants just upstream.
ReplyDeleteYou could be right, Larry. But it could also be that this cataract is carrying sediments during a monsoon, temporarily turning this enormous amount of water to red.
ReplyDeleteI have seen karst lakes in Croatia, one communicating with another, several in a row, each with its own beautiful and almost 'unnatural' color and yet explained by the nature of the terrain.
At least I hope it's the case with this waterfall...
