Why isn't he in jail is the question many Canadians and other democratic countries are asking themselves.
If one of our politicians would just do a small percentage of what this spoiled brat did, he would be prosecuted and put in jail.
The Justice system in USA is too slow and rigged because if your white and wealthy you can manage to get free of any persuits. More outrageous is the way he went to the Miami court in motorcade as he would still be a president and flew back on his private plane etc... Telling afterward so many lies to his stupid followers without being cautious about what the judge told him to do...
USA's politics and election system is going, again, to be fucked up in 2024 and even now.
It's why DeSatan has such support, too. He goes after everything the Repukes hate, so they love him. If they can't have Mango Mussolini, they'll happily take Mango Mussolini 2.0
To paraphrase our beloved Bette Davis, Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bloody campaign! And it's shaping up to be a battle royale and we get to see history in the making. With the cast of some of the usual gop buffoons and numb-nuts and now the mayor of Miami(will be interesting to see what his take on the gop platform is) in the mix, blood will be shed and civility will be out the door. This upcoming melee will splinter the party but I lack the confidence to think this will be a bloodbath at the ballot box in 2024. I'm still trying to get the trauma of 2016 out of my scorched brain.
Here's hoping this new batch of 37 indictments, E. Jean Carroll pursuing another lawsuit, New York's legal push and Georgia still to be heard from will finally take this bastard and embarrassment to the old America down to where he belongs: with the rest of the traitors and felons this country has fought for more than two centuries.
And while we're on the subject, Why are there Log Cabin Republicans? Any gay republicans? Any Black American, Hispanic, Asian, Jewish republicans? Haven't they seen how they've been demeaned and insulted, or heard the words from this latest batch of party leaders? It's inconceivable that any of these marginalized groups would choose to have an "R" after their names on the voting register.
Fingers crossed that this will be the turning point...
