2023.0120.0010...

Cleaning the inside glass of our car is one of the banes of my existence. Even though I know all the things to do, I will still read an article on the subject to see if there is something new and/or quicker that I can try. Alas, there isn't. But, I digress. The purpose of this post is to show the inconsistency of these particular instructions...

  1. (Forgive me if this is a duplicate post; Blogger is being stupid)

I just use a DRY microfiber cloth and it works just fine. (Your mileage may vary.)

  2. I saw a vid where the guy used M. Clean Magic Eraser first, then used his glass cleaner.. haven't tried it yet, but plan to..

  3. Why is it that you only notice it when you're driving at speed on the highway and then forget to clean it when you get home?

  4. Just my two cents: as a windshield is made of glass why not use the same glass cleaner you use for your windows, the way you proceed at home?
Spares you the buying of a so-called 'specifically-designed-for-windshields' product, and the hassle of reading useless instructions :-)

  8. I have found that rubbing alcohol does a better job than Windex at removing the film from the inside of my windshield. Make sure to leave the car doors open for ventilation while rubbing the alcohol with a microfiber cloth.
