After evacuated ALL Christian religion (mainly Catholic one in Province of Québec) from our governement and education system etc. in the 60's, we did make huge improvements in our social democracy where the universal health care system was put in place and many other things like equality of sexes man/woman and freedom for LGBTQ people etc...
