ReplyDeleteI was so outraged to see those long lines for food in USA a such wealthy country but I remembered that those wealth people are only 1% of your population.
We in Canada has some issues for feeding some of us but nothing compare to yours.
Mostly homeless ones but even then, they had many places to go to be fed and taking care of.
As our Prime Minister Trudeau with the help of the oppisition parties had put in place lot of financial help since March 2020, no one in Canada had to go to such long food lines.
our poorest people could always go to food distribution centers to get boxes of food and no lines there. Also as many schools are open, kids have access to free meals in the cafeterias there.

ReplyDeleteI remain gobsmacked at by the lack of empathy in this country. Not just people... animals, too. The wealthy have gotten away with far too much for far too long. And it's not those uber rich families with their Connecticut seaside houses... it's those F'ng CEOs who make bank by bilking their workers when it comes to healthcare. It's those bankers raking in cash on poor people's debt... student debt and mortgages... it is outrageous. It's time to vote in people who are willing to change the status quo. The rich white dudes have to go.
