So how many Downtonistas are there out there? For 6 years I loved living in those peoples' lives. Had the same experience some 35 years earlier with the aristocracy and their servants in Upstairs, Downstairs. Also a good series on PBS.

ReplyDeleteThey told our tour that we couldn't take pictures inside, but they came out just fine! :-) The rooms seemed not as large IRL, but very nice.

ReplyDeleteTerrific place, isn't it? "Downton Abbey" was a terrific series - and the film was enjoyable as well.
