  2. And the US Navy found, even after all that, almost all of the test ships gathered for the atomic test stayed afloat, with massive radiation and some damage, but they still stayed afloat…

  4. Up to 67 warships, submarines and support ships from the USA, Japan and Germany were used in one of its 3 tests.
    A few ships sank, most ships survived and decontamination was futile despite many attempts at the atoll and at Navy bases in the USA. Those ships were then sunk over a several year period.
    The ships were hot with radiation, the cleanup and decontamination crews must have ended up with increased risks of getting cancers. Blood, bone and lung cancers would be more prevalent, less likely of all are brain cancers, as studies of the survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki proved.
