Idunno. I was privileged to be able to experience the early 1980's corporate culture before insatiable greed took over leadership. At my corporate first job, my desk was one hallway from the CEO and Presidents office and situated in an office above the assembly lines. We saw them daily, parked next to us, they knew our names. Then the mergers, sales and acquisitions began. All of that familiarity ceased. Our desks were relegated to cubicles in an office park.
