  2. It has been a common practice, for a very long time, to reward corporate officers with "compensation" for meeting and exceeding their performance standards. Nothing new about this! Money, stock options, etc. Such profit-sharing used to be available to their workers, too. I recall in the 1990s, when everything Chrysler brought out received great sales, each worker got something like $11K that year, for their work in helping the corporation do well. At a time when GM was suffering from "no sales" and "production over-capacity". That is one way that "trickle-down" is supposed to work!

    Now, such orientations seem to be gone. As directors acting in their fiduciary capabilities focus ONLY on their shareholders (which also includes THEM) rather than the people, doing their job, who made these things happen.
