ReplyDeleteLe nénuphar violet du Viet-Nam est récolté dans le delta Mekong, au sud du Viet-Nam, et de long des rives de la rivière Ngo Dong, au nord du Viet-Nam.
Les tiges de ces fleurs sont utilisées dans les soupes, les salades et pour thé.
Des festivals de récolte de nénuphars sont organisés dans les villages en octobre et en décembre.

DeleteThe second photo resembles the edge of Niagara Falls, specifically the Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side of the river -- the sheer, clean edge plus the wild whitecaps dancing right up to the dropoff, and the bright morning light streaming in from the southeast are all consistent with what I've viewed there many times (from the side, of course -- on a riverbank, not in a balloon or via drone!)
ReplyDeleteBut what no photo can convey is the water's immense roar and the air's surpassing wetness -- the camera here would be as wet from the spray as if it were in the shower, since the mist from so much rushing, crashing water is vast.
