1981 Ghia Cockpit
The 1981 Ghia Cockpit was a futuristic, three-wheeled concept car by Ford, featuring a fighter-jet inspired bubble canopy that lifted hydraulically to reveal a two-seat, tandem (front-to-back) interior, emphasizing extreme fuel efficiency (over 75 mpg) with a small, rear-mounted engine, designed for urban commuting with lightweight plastics and a focus on sustainable transport.
Auto wie ein Toboggan :) Ford stellte eine moderne Version des Messerschmitt- Kabinenrollers her. Der Kabinenroller wurde von 1953 bis 1964 in Regensburg hergestellt. (vVs)
I always wonder with concept cars and odd doors - did the designers never experience rain? Or a failure of hydraulics? ;)
