As grand as these residences/showplaces might be, I still shudder at the thought of the cost of monthly upkeep of the building and grounds. That amount would probably make a nice monthly income for a non-resident! But as long as the owners can afford it, "More power to them!".

DeleteReminds me of some of the fine homes I was invited to perform at private parties in the Hollywood Hills and Beverly Hills back in my male stripper days.
ReplyDeleteThe champagne flowed and got sprayed on my bod as the clients would lick it off.
Then into the pool to swim and frolic nude to the clients delight. Many of those clients were closet cases, some married with wives, who wouldn’t be caught dead in LA’s gay scene which they found too wild and drug centric for their tastes. So boys like me were called upon for entertainment that respected their boundaries.
