ReplyDeleteIs World history being taught anymore so students can recognize it and react accordingly, or are we too busy with our eyes focused on our phones watching the latest social media influencer or inane videos of people making fools of themselves on TikTok? Are our ears stuffed with ear buds so we can't hear the hate speech and fake news being spewed by Fox and the ult-right goons? We are doomed for sure if people don't wake up and understand that being "woke" are two different subjects and aren't a bad thing. Time is running out...

Back in the 1990s, when "terrorism" was rearing its head, and people were torching new Hummers at dealerships in protest of their gasoline inefficiency, I raised the question (in a car club newsletter) that these people should be labeled "terrorists" as they were seeking to make the citizenry feel threatened (the general definition of "terrorism" at that time).
ReplyDeleteThe club president got an angry call from a member that I should not be making political comments in the newsletter (which I edited). So although I did not consider my comments "political", I ceased to make any comments like that again.
Whatever happens at a Tesla dealership is of Musk'd own making. Simple as that! But as he allegedly thinks he knows more about anything than anybody else, that he can apparently do no wrong, it is what it is. IF he fails to understand that "customers have choices", THEN he might realize that HE is the reason that Tesla sales tanked after his "salute".
During T's first term, people were commenting about his lack of general knowledge about government. May of his "base" claimed that "People should let him do his job". Only thing is that his "job" appears to be to tear down and offer no really beneficial (to the nation) improvements in their place. "Chaos and destruction" can be attributes of "real estate developers" as THEY make money no matter what. Even if what they do causes irreparable harm to many. Any time T uses the words "Big, beautiful _____", he is getting ready to sell a bill of goods.
So far Trump’s big and beautiful is gross and ugly. Trump and Elon are their own worst enemies and will self destruct, sadly they’ll destroy the very fabric of America in the process.
