And the oligarchs wonder where the Marxist Manifesto came from. When you think about it the selfish wealthy have brought on Communism and Fascism to fruition due to their abuse and exploitation. FDR warned them during his campaign for President in 1932 that America was headed for either Communism or Fascism, they very reluctantly heeded his warning, but then went back to their old ways. -Rj
Thank God (if he ever existed) I live in Canada where the first meme isn't really going on here. We have some billionnaires but in our politic system we don't donate money like in USA to a candidate. We are allowed to give not more than $500 to a party, never to a candidate. Even wealthy and companies or corporations cannot give more than $500. in the past when this electoral law was adopted, some companies tried to get over it by saying to their workers to give $500 each and after reembursing them.. This is illegal here.
The money hordering in USA in your elections makes it hard for an average guy to present himself or herself because it's too expensive. So not surprising that now oligarches are now part of your government.
