I remember we had a Woolworth's store in town, and I remember it being fondly referred to as the 5 and dime. Now I don't know if in the mid 60's, when I was a young boy, if everything was 5cents to a dime ( I doubt it) but that's what I remember it as. Man, we had really nice stores in town, till the shopping malls started to spring up.
Aww. Olde tyme photos. Glad I was not born in that era.
ReplyDeleteuptonking, give it a few for months and you might be saying that same thing for the present.
DeleteDid you notice there's a 5 and 10 cent store on the corner of the first 2 buildings?
ReplyDeleteMilleson - I noticed that in the first image. After you pointed it out, I now see it in the second image.
