#3: I do not accept it. And a few million other people are getting damn tired of it. And everybody has guns. This gravy train is going to get derailed sooner rather than later.
The administration is going to make this a class war. One reason I have been getting very select with shopping and where I'm getting things. It's to the point I won't even support any chain store or companies, and refuse to use Amazon....ever. Lugi is right. And we'll see more of this......
Here in Montreal Amazon just shut down ALL of his facilities (7 of them) because their employes wanted to be unionised. 1700 workers are loosing their jobs on the spot. Amazon said that it wasn't for that reason but because they want to be more efficient and will deliver their parcels with a private company. Just to say that they were paid $21/h and a simple Walmart worker is paid $32/h.... We as Canadians are beginning to consider NOT buying any American goods with the latest threats of 25% tariffs of your new «clown in chief» on Canadian products.
It's going to get impossible to avoid corporate greed. The big devour the small - they buy them up and swallow them. Or open right down the street, lower the prices, and put the small ones out of business. Watch what happens to the majority of properties in S CA - the fire victims will take the pennies on the dollar from the Private Equity firms because they need the money, then those firms will throw up cracker boxes and sell them at a premium. This is how Oligarchy works. The millionaire / billionaire class just laughs and watches.
Just like the Great Depression. Not all millionaires jumped out the window, they became wealthier. They actually bought everything at fire sale prices from foreclosure auctions and very desperate homeowners and business-owners, waited the depression out and became even more wealthy. That old saying, you can’t make more money without money. -Rj
Luigi is a result of your health care system based on profit not on the good of all Americans. We never have such pressure in Canada as our universal healthcare system evacuated those private insurance companies from the medical system. They are just providing additional coverage for those who are working with some side benefit in their working contract or for those who can pay it privatly. But the coverage of the universal healthcare is good enough to prevent huge cost of any care like surgeries or hospital bills etc... Just to add, here in Province of Québec we also have a governement car insurance which is covering any damages, physic and law suits after an accident. We only pay a private car insurance for the «car» mecanic damages. We have the no fault system. Are we «liberals» or «socialist» or «communists» ? We only care for each other even if «God» isn't praised in each of our speeches.
