The numbers are based on Bezos' $56.7 billion gains during the first half of 2020 (source: Bloomberg and Buzzfeed), which translates into approximately $311 million per day, or $3,605 every second.

I asked my sister: Do you have any idea how much a billion dollars is? She answered "No.". Think of spending $60,000 per day for 33 years. I was off by $23,000. I was too low!

These guys are having a race to see who can become the first Trillionaire. Bezos would be far out in front if he hadn't lost 50% in his divorce --- she, at least, gives away millions each year.
