I've been reminded that today is the Summer Solstice...

The 2024 summer solstice is the earliest since George Washington was president

Wow, I knew something was up when I noticed early in the year it said summer stared this year June 20 it's usually June21!!! Then I was going to look it up and see why June 20th but didn't learn till today it was because it was leap year. But didn't know it was the earlies since George Washington's day was president.

Thanks Rick I find these facts interesting. Now can someone tell me why the fuck do we still have to turn the clocks back in November?? Well, some states don't turn them back, certainly wish the whole country did not have to do it.

Scott - Turning the clocks back is tradition! (I hate it, too.)

I also learned that the daylight hours will not actually begin to decrease until the 22nd...because of Leap Year.

And, I hate that Pelosi never brought that time change bullshit to a vote. She did a lot of good things, but she failed us on that one!

Hey everyone, I could be wrong, but I know Rick's Zodiac sign is Cancer (mine too) Now I do forget if it's in June, which I think it is, or could be July. Maybe he will tell us. Rick??????
