2024.0201.0003...

The entire month of February is...

Black History Month

Something I learned just this morning (no link)...

Today in History: February 1, 4 Black college students begin a sit-in protest at a Woolworth’s lunch counter

Thanks, Goran, for sending this...

  6. Shirley Chisholm was a great lady that served in our government. Shirley was so down to earth, as was the eloquent Barbara Jordan.
We could sure use intelligent ladies like them today. :) -Rj

  7. @Sicko - Thank you for including me in this...
It's a little strange to me that this is not taught in your schools...I grew up in a multinational country that consisted of 6 republics and we were taught the history of each of them. Such a way of learning only contributed to the fact that we were all very tolerant. towards each other...you should try it too
