Whomever designed and tailored those uniforms knew what they were doing! Snug in the right places, a bit fuller in other places. Much better than the "normal" uniforms of the USA and Europe. Accenting their masculinity and perceived POWER to keep everything controlled.
I'm a very firm believer of keeping military worship in check, however I'd put this bunch through some basic training. Love your new pic at the head of the blog.
Spain's long been a HOT area, and the uniforms deal with that challenge so well! Clothes may make the man, but these clothes make the man macho -- WOW!
I waited a bit to first check on my fellow visitors comments :-) And I agree with all that's been written, particularly about their costume - because these uniforms are only meant to be wore on parade occasions. Just as all of these men are long past basic training and used to attending advanced training. They were just flagged as being manly and handsome enough to represent their corps during parades. All army corps, whatever the country, advertise themselves the same way. Even the Paris Fire Dpt is known for having the habit of recruiting their firemen based upon their attractive looks on top of their excellent skills and integrity.
What Gay designer tricked this military organization into thinking that this was a proper uniform for its troops and how do we give that Queen a MEDAL?! A-MAZ-ING!! These guys could only look hotter in their briefs! And maybe not even then!
The Nazis had a uniform that was designed for the same reason. They were über macho uniforms. The guy's name was Debtisch and another Heck. Hugo Boss produced them. He was a homosexual nazi until he wasn't.
