TRUMP 2024! He’s got my vote
ReplyDeleteTrump's actions proved many things about USA citizens. The ONE, biggest thing, is that a whole lot of them did not pay attention during high school American History. IF they had, they would have seen Trump's comments as "what he can do" as being false, right up front, as it takes THREE separate US Government, separate but equal, entities to make things happen. They each need and have to work with each other. Trump did not like that and has sought to overturn it since he was elected. His selected/appointed Supreme Court justices are still trying for him, too.
ReplyDeleteThe other thing is that during his campaign, when he was talking about what he was going to do, if elected, it was like he had a magic wand he was going to wave and make things better immediately. AND his followers bought that! Completely! As if things would be better immediately, rather than actually taking years to get them done. My thought was "The Energizer Bunny is going to have go get busy, lest Trump run out of batteries. Plus some extra magic wands, too.",
It will be interesting to see how, 30 years from now, how Trump will be portrayed in the high school Anerican History books? Might his followers seek to hide the fact they were bamboozled, sweeping Trump's activities under the carpet, or use them as a very stiff lesson about how one man and his "blind" followers did his bidding, at their own peril, just to seek to please him? Almost toppling one of the world's great democracies.
VOTE BLUE, no matter what! There might be merit in a third party, but that will NOT end Trump's power. We don't need to take that chance!

#3 Would make good public housing, but no. Why house everyone when developers and investors need to make obscene profits and more people can end up homeless. Developers always complain about red tape and taxes, but many times local governments relax the red tape and provide tax incentives and still the developers will only build apartments and homes advertised as either executive living or luxury living. No more building for families or folks on a budget as was the norm in the building boom of the 50s and 60s. House-ageddon is here !
