The Fed House Rep for the Nashville district has said on camera the GOP will not fix the gun problem. They don't see it as a problem. It truly is going to take the younger generation getting rid of those politicians.

The gun situation is going in cycles. First mass shootings, then school shootings by older people, then school shootings by younger people (with legally-purchased AR-style guns, and now shootings by the students themselves (against others for many reasons).
In the later 1950s until the earlier 1960s, westerns were popular on tv, so "cap guns" for play were common. Then came many WWII-themed tv shows, with normal-style guns. Then later-era-themed military shows and video games. No "play guns" for the kids to have, so they bought real ones instead. Then came the societal changes where mediation or "working things out" vanished. So now we have "guns" as the substitute. "I don't like you, you stole my girl" . . . and the guns are used to achieve a quick result by immature (mentally and psychologically AND AGE) people. And once that happens, gets on the national news, copycat things happen. "That person in ___ did that, so I'm going to do that too", as if that "other deal" made it right.
Until parents start to better "teach their children well", to better get along with others, AND the parents themselves do likewise, not depending upon guns to "do their talking for them", what we now have will continue. Better gun control is a short-term, immediate "fix", but the societal issues will take a few generations to really kick in. GUNS have far too much alleged-importance in our current society, for many reasons . . . even in "Wild West" Texas.
I'm curious please tell me how gun control; will stop this.We live in a society full of pussies,everyone is offended by the stupidest shit.
Do you suggest total gun confiscation? I'm sure the criminals will turn all their guns in like that idiot Beto O'Rourke said they would do.
