  2. That last one should be shouted from the rooftop! It is appalling. Over the past few years I have seen my premium health insurance rise in price, but fall dramatically in terms of coverage. Service gets worse and worse. Something needs to be done.

  3. uptonking - This country needs a revolution, but I'm afraid it will be a civil war instead.

Unfortunately Rick, I don't see any of this changing until you and I are long gone from this world...

  6. Our National Health Service may be under strain in these troubled times, yes we pay our taxes for it, but treatment in hospital is free at the point of need, we are so fortunate since it’s creation in 1948

  8. Good post!

As Luv Chocolate I live in Canada, Province of Québec and we have universal healthcare for decades.

In USA the main issues are the insurance companies that would loose their money fountain. All is about money in USA and talking of income taxe to provide everyone with healthcare are repugnant for the wealthiest.

I know it because two of my «Republican» friends told me that they would never be OK to pay for the poorest and «lazy» people to provide them universal healthcare.

Unbelievable when I know them to be «good Christians»...

  9. Yeah, this "Poor = Lazy" thing is the biggest crock of crap in the Repugnican playbook. The really frustrating thing is that they got so many of the poor to go along with it.
