No.2 Even here in Canada we are far behind those countries that achieved beautiful high speed trains.
ReplyDeleteGoing to France on May 1989 and I saw the French TGV speeding in the country side and it was a beauty. No real big sound and just outstanding to see.
My French friends and my cousin Denis took it many times and the speed even in curves aren't felt and the confort of the cars are very high class.
For the Chinese Maglev my friend Jay, a Chinese living here in Canada, sent me a photo of the speed of his Maglev Shangaï train near Shangaï and it shows 431Km/h (268 miles/h) and it's not his record speed.
For democracy in USA, all I can say is: GOOD LUCK !
JIEL - Thanks, we need it.
ReplyDeleteI find it hard to believe that the American people still rely (based upon the newspapers) on a billionaire ass-hole to get a supposedly astounding "loop" train (obviously intended for the rich), when the TGV technology has been out on the rails since sept. 1981.
ReplyDeleteCan someone please remind us how many presidencies the U.S. went through during the last 40 years?
I'll gust go for a big UP to Mr Biden for his will to fund the infrastructures. It's about time, don't you think?
BatRedneck - Absolutely about time, yes.
