  1. LOL... love that last one. HR1, huh? Where's the media on this one? Why haven't we heard more about it. Seem common sense. Which means, of course, it hasn't a chance in hell of passing.

  3. I hadn't heard about HR 1 (*) prior you your post.
Looked it up and came across the For The People Act, and found it to be crucial.
As a non-U.S. citizen some may think it is not my place.
But as an individual who is entitled to having an opinion, and therefore caring about people wherever they live, I say let's help spread the word. If the media is not doing it, at least we can raise our flags and, maybe, catch their attention.
As minimal as it may seem, anyone of us posting something related to this HR 1 will at the very least help educate our visitors.
    Thanks Rick.

(*): honestly, what is it with you English speaking people and your addiction for acronyms? Sometimes your headlines look just like undecypherable SMS's sent by teenagers...
(That one was a joke. You know it was, did you not?)

  4. No.1 Is so much a big tree in a Canadian eye.
I never can listen to Fuck News more than one of even two minutes as my skin grows goose bumps.

No.2 NO ONE of our politicians can be on CEO's private boards when serving in public as a representative from any party.
On our funding for any political parties, there is a limited amount that ALL have to respect, individuals and corporations as well. I think it is not more than $500 Can.

No.3 That's exactly what the Retrumplicons are fearing and are fighting like a demon in holy water to keep it. Also it's why they are trying to rig any elections by putting over 150 bills in many states to make voting rights hard to achieve by some specific voters who are in a bizare way democrat voters.

  5. BatRedneck - Wow, you did so much better on your blog at getting the word out! Thanks, too, for the shout-out. As for the acronyms: they never ask me for my option so I'm shut out of that decision.

JiEL - Politics here would be so much better if they were like Canada's.

  6. I'm certainly not a supporter of old Ronny, but compared to his Republican successors, he now looks like a statesman!

  7. Xersex - Ronald Reagan made all this possible.
