Trump and his sycophants and cronies are chipping away bit by bit. The past month or two they have been more and more brazen as the republicans keep silent and allow it to continue. His core base of followers will be stunned when they realize what has happened to them - but, just like Nazi Germany, it will be too late.
The latest: Birtherism all over again, now against Harris because...well, because, a person of color! Only one Republican senator (Kennedy from Louisianna) commented at all, only to say, "I didn't hear about that until you called for comment." Nothing else, just those words.
Silence = Complicit.
