Damn right about the farmers. Musk or Bezos would probably drop dead of heart failure if they had to do one day's work on a farm -- especially the kind of work farms hire illegal aliens for at harvest time.
ReplyDeleteEven when the wealthy do some things that could be considered "work", it is mostly just bullying people or making stupid decisions, not work that actually produces results. If the system rewarded people for the value of what they create, medical researchers would be billionaires, while the Musks and Bezoi would be living in cardboard boxes under freeway overpasses.

ReplyDeleteThe air we breath, the water we drink and the food we eat. Those three are fondamental to our survival, not money, concret, high tech or oil etc..
Stopping the food chain would have catastrophic repercussions on the lives of ALL humans the wealthy include.
At the other end, the garbage pickers are as important as the farmers which means that those who claim that they are more important in the country would be the wealthy ones, have no common sense of life on earth.
See in Gaza or any other countries having famine to understand what is most important in life.

Farmers don't work hard. Most of them only work about six weeks of the year.
