ReplyDeleteThe Kamala Harris memes are certainly indicative of those things we would have liked to have seen but are aspirational at best. If elected, she would have had a difficult time during her first two years in office achieving any of those goals because she would have been working with an angry divided Congress with the opposition party in the majority. They would have fought her on all fronts to insure her defeat and demonize her.
ReplyDeleteThe future is hard to predict. We may have enjoyed seeing Kamala in the White House, but many others would only see a mixed-race woman with intelligence, morals and ethics, a person to fear because that is not the direction of the GOP at this time.
We will be subjected to much more pain and suffering, embarrassment and ridicule, before we will have a leader of whom we can be proud in the future. I hope we all live to see that happen.

DeleteNo.1 This 50years 47 proposition is so ridiculous. At first uneducated people would think it's OK but when you count it all, your house would cost you almost the double with a 50years mortgage.
ReplyDeleteThe last one is always hard to make Americans be aware that they are almost the only ones in the world democracies to pay private health care to enrich those big capitalist companies which are also choosing who can benefit of their help and even more.
I told you in the past that I did have a major surgery to take out a colon cancer in 2017 in Montréal, Canada, with a 4 days stay in the hospital and with follow ups by my surgeon and all this for «$0».
I can hear some say that I pay lot of income taxes but part of my income annual taxe reports, it include and annual $738Can for my universal healthcare.
While you Americans for some you pay like $1000 to $2000/month for your private healthcare with no certainty to be really covered.
