  1. Being "the richest country in the world" is completely meaningless when the wealth is so unevenly distributed. If you have a room with a hundred people in it and a hundred dollars, but one person has fifty dollars while all the others have only fifty cents each, the fact that on average each person has one dollar has no practical meaning.

      That’s why when the experts go on about incomes per capita they should be made to reveal each income bracket by percentage from low to high to get an accurate accounting.
      They’ll never do that as it would reveal startling inequality.

    2. I don't know for the public knowledge of the income bracket but here in Canada this is a public list to all of us to see. I know that mine is around 12% after all of the deductibles. And this include my participation for our universal healthcare system.
      As I'm 74yo I have a total of $4000 credit to help me and I pay $737 one year for my universal healthcare and government medicare for my prescriptions.
