Beautiful autos of the designers and engineers art, when chrome, fins and space age dashboards ruled the American highway. Sadly, death traps with their single circuit drum brakes, non collapsible steering columns and lack of proper seat belts. Not to mention maintenance and repairs galore. If you want a classic either upgrade it with dual circuit disc brakes, a collapsible steering column and proper seat belts. Or buy a car from 1967 or later years that have these features standard, as they were mandated by the Federal government for public safety. -Rj
