VALID comments and orientations. Curious that the "church people" don't see it that way, yet they claim to be :"tax exempt" for religious reasons. Curious, too, that many religious-backed-oriented PACs want that same exemption as they advocate for political candidates. Not to be offensive, but it might be best if that tax exemption went away. If they can give the President immunity for his actions while in office, they can remove that tax exemption, too. THEN we'll see how much money those who don't claim to be "buying their way into heaven" really are contributing to these entities. FWIW
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable that today in 2025 USA is cherry picking what suits the need to gain power directly from your 1776 Constitution where your fonding fathers just wanted to exclude religion from the politic.
ReplyDeleteHere in province of Québec we evacuated the religion (was mainly the Catholic Church which was corrupt with one party) after 1962 with the election of our provincial Liberal party.
After we saw more progress in our politics and the birth our our national Hydro Québec which is a gem of our power grid with clean hydro electricity.
Years later our public school system was free for all and our university can be easily accessible at fees affordable.
The universal healthcare system is another achievement of our religion free governements.
Day care for children are also subsudized and family pay $10/day for one child to help women to go to work.
