Don't be fooled by this last image. They can be much, much larger.

    1. Can't remember I ever ate some. Thank you for the tip: I'll ask my fishmonger if he can have some.

  2. Unfortunately, the clip didn't show an actual attack. Or did I miss it?

    1. LeftField - I don't recall an attack in the video either. Shame.

  3. LoL!
I remember that once my MD asked me if I had painkillers in my first-aid cabinet. I couldn't help but answering "I have coffee, it helps to put up with people".

  4. A very ominous feeling when I awoke this morning...let's see how today plays itself out...my coffee doesn't seem to be working to dispel the uncertainty...these pics of Leon Putz didn't help.

  5. Anglerfish are also known as monkfish.
Had the best monkfish meal at a Breton restaurant in Paris, the monkfish was served in a rich sauce of tomatoes, onions, shallots, garlic, herbs, white wine and cognac. I washed it down with Breton apple cider and had a kouign amann pastry for desert.
Monkfish is known as the poor man’s lobster, though it’s getting to be expensive nowadays.

    1. Was it the fish or the wine, cognac and tomatoes that was tasty?
I was in Korea and my crew wanted to take me to a restaurant that specialized in monk fish. They know I am adventurous but at the last minute decided for something less so.

    2. Both the fish and the sauce, though I did have monkfish with drawn butter at a fish restaurant in Normandy, it was just as tasty.

  6. Poor baby. They say it either was fleeing from predators, got caught in a stream, or was ill.
