2025.0215-Add-001...
At 50 minutes, this is a little long for a blog, but it's worth watching for those who remember those times. I became aware of this documentary by a commenter on post 2025.2014-Add-001, about the police raid in San Francisco in 1964...
I'd seen this video before and it's excellent. One would have thought after the huge Compton Cafeteria Riots in August of 66 that things would have gotten better but they didn't. And still all this before Stonewall. The police in New York saw this and should have learned a lesson but didn't. We know how that turned out.
This is why now the gay community has to overlook our differences, not agreeing with each other's lifestyles and become one strong unit, because with this current whacko administration, history just might start repeating.
Silence will eventually take the rights of everyone away. The sick fucks of this administration want us all back in that confining closet that becomes a stultifying, suffocating tomb. I call them sick fucks because that is exactly what they are, look how many of them and their supporters have been caught literally with their pants down, and then have the nerve to deny their crap. Boebert allowed herself to get sexually groped in public with children present, why is she not on a sex offender list ? Falwell Jr had sexual relations that supposedly he abhors. That’s the tip of their iceberg, hypocrites all. :-(
