From supporting emancipation and freedom for slaves, now a sick force to take the country back to Dred Scott and Jim Crow laws. As soon as Lincoln’s corpse was cold, they became cold. They now distance themselves from his legacy as they appeal to the basest of instincts, hatred. Their southern strategy will bite them in the ass.

ReplyDeleteIn the 1920’s it was the red scare they created to destroy workers unions, and again in the 1950’s to purge Hollywood and the Federal workforce, while destroying people’s reputations and livelihoods. In the 1970’s they brought us Watergate and a growing distrust of government and the very institutions of democracy. In the 198O’s they brought us the economic debacle of Reaganomics and not so free trade in order to gut the working man. Yes, their destruction runs far and deep as they make everything even worse with their puppet Trump and company.
DeleteIn DC we have powerbrokers that never leave, they decide policy. Congressmen, Senators and even Presidents are just temporary occupants that the powerbrokers barely tolerate. The powerbrokers are the ones to unmask and bring light to the damage they have done to America.

It's maybe now going to be the real decline of the American empire as this «new» administration from the White House to the Congress, Senate and House including this SCOTUS in its conservative (regressive) majority are now empowered by AI and 21st technology but still running on an outdated 1776 Constitution.
