I wonder why the rays are going round in a circle like that. Just goofing off?
ReplyDeleteThe rays dancing to the theme from "A Summer Place," the first movie in 1959 where I learned that a boy and a girl could make babies and NOT be married. I was shocked as a 12 year old kid :-) So naughty!

The manta rays are awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteThe first picture reminds of my childhood---We lived off base in Okinawa---Our home was in spitting distance of a seawall---East China Sea---And the big KC130s and other military planes would barely clear the sea wall, wheels down, and land within minutes at the tail end of the Kadena AFB runway and taxi in----I could see all of this from the top bunk of my bedroom---I would just lay there and watch the planes come in---
ReplyDeleteVRCooper, my father was one of those pilots flying the KC130s there! He went on to fly for Braniff, Piedmont and retired at USAirways. I worked in the cabin of the 747s and such. I never got tired of watching civilian aircraft land or take off as a kid. The A380s, such a magnificent "whale".
