1,000% correct. The only thing this accomplished was getting the words into the official government record --- right up until 47 orders all the records destroyed.
ReplyDeleteEven if he and other Democrats are speaking words of truth, the leading party and most of all the «autocratic-emperor» in the White house, will not be listening to those and will maintain their pace to make America going backward to 1933 Germany. Seems that the oligarch in chief, more in charge than VP JD Vance, is going balistic showing to the German AFD that being a neo-nazi is nothing that bad.

The Honorable Mr. Raskin speaks the unadulterated and accurate TRUTH of the situation. Only thing is that ONLY "Real Adults" understand him and the significance of what he says. "Conservatives" are far too busy and focused on hanging onto coat tails of people they desire approval of. So much that they have not accomplished many things to really move the country forward, as they always promise to do in their "Vote for ME" speeches.
ReplyDeleteI only hope that all of the younger voters who voted with their pocketbook, for "Conservatives", realize they were conned. Hopefully they will realize they do NOT desire to make that mistake again! It will be easy to say "All politicians lie", BUT it is up to these same voters to recognize this and seek to NOT support people who are really working for them and their well-being. That people with great wealth are more concerned with increasing it rather than helping those who made it for them, with higher wages and such. "Trickle Down" is a great theory that CAN work, but does not work as it is perceived to work. When shareholders reap those benefits rather than the people who made those profits happen.
And the repugs are only having migrant raids in blue states, not red states spearheaded by grandstander Kristi Noem. They don’t want to upset hypocrite red state maga farmers who use illegal migrant labor to harvest their profitable crops. -Rj
ReplyDeleteWhat we have here in Canada is a «temporary» visa for foreign workers to come here to help farmers to harvest crops, fruits or vegetables etc..
DeleteTheir permit is sometimes going on years after years and loosing those precious workers would be a catastrophy for our farmers.
Also they are well treated with same working conditions than any Canadian workers.
Same salaries which is here around $31 Can per hour with some benefits too.
We need those workers and also good working immigrants to fill many kind of works.
I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that the majority of American voters voted for the republi-fascist platform headed by their corrupt and criminal orange wannabe Fuhrer.....America sadly I guess deserves all the chaos and craziness that is coming.... ignorance is NOT bliss and America will never again be seen as a "shining city on the hill" by anyone around the world! But hey! I guess they decided that voting for the orange A-hole was preferable to having an articulate black female for president and a corrupt and sycophantic party was preferable to one that isn't bought and paid for by Musk and MNCs...
ReplyDeleteMany of the non-Kamala voters were protesting various things, like the Israel/Gaza orientations, plus some other things (economic issues any President can't control, just they forgot about that!). I suspect these people did not stop to consider what the real outcome of their protest vote would be. Certainly, THEY made a "lost point", by observation. NOW they are starting to see the results, not liking what they are seeing, many times.
DeleteApparently USA voters have lost "the greater good" mindset? Looking at minor (in the grand scheme of things) issues rather than what the country really needs to prosper and move ahead. Conservatives have trounced "the other side" as evil, in so many ways, yet without the other side's "vision of the future", no forward progress would be made. Going backward is NEVER an option, as in business, but building on past accomplishments IS possible. We MUST always look into the future so we can be ready for it! PLUS enough money to pay for climate change property losses.
