ReplyDeleteSome features of the Centurion appeared on the 1957 Buicks.
The reverse cant side windows, a more curved wrap around windshield and wrap around rear window. The Centurion was the first car to use a rear mounted tv camera with a screen mounted on the dashboard.

ReplyDeleteIn Germany, the Amerika of the 50’ and 60’s was views as a dreamland of big fast autos, big tract homes and large food portions. We were envious then, now not so much. We pity you in Amerika, you vote for a mad man who pisses on your war dead. War dead that saved us Germans from ourselves and Hitler and his Nazi lunacy. Now we see that same lunacy at work in Amerika, and it emboldens lunatics here in Germany and around the world.
